DIANE MELLEN, EXECUTIVE PRODUCER
Diane is a production Executive with Pace Films. Her association with the company began as founder and Executive Producer on "The Man Behind 55,000 Dresses." Diane has a background of experience in foundation and charity work. Her commitment to humanitarianism has earned recognition from the NAACP and as a recipient of the Ruth Steinkraus Cohen Memorial Award as one of Connecticut's most Outstanding Women. Diane is a supporter of the Innocence Project in New York City, which frees prisoners wrongfully convicted of crimes. She has been a supporter of social and environmental causes for 30 years. Diane brings this discipline and extensive knowledge base to her film production career, winning Awards of Merit including: "Women Filmmakers," "Outstanding Interviewing” and "Best Producer." Her films are Official Selections of over 43 U.S. and international film festivals, additionally winning 22 awards.
STACEY STONE, DIRECTOR, DP, EDITOR
Stacey's background comes from documenting social justice work around the world. She has filmed and photographed in India, Africa, Peru, UK, and Guatemala for NGO's, The Documentary Channel, BBC, and National Geographic. Stacey received the acclaimed "Humanitarian Award" for her documentary on Father Jesu in Chennai, India after the 2004 tsunami.
A graduate of Smith College, Stacey has a passion for combining healing work through storytelling. "My Planet, My Future" was selected to screen at Sundance. Her films have garnered 66 distinguished awards and film festival screenings both in the U.S. and internationally.
